Most significantly, meditation brings us back into connection with ourselves and with the world around us. Through regular meditation practice, we learn to quieten the stories and expectations we have of ourselves and others, and to tap into the deeper truth of what matters to us.
Meditation also deepens our connection with the world around us so that we can recognise our place as part of the whole. At a time of chronic loneliness and disconnection, this is a powerful force which reminds us that we are not alone and that we each have a role to play.
A lot of people believe that they cannot meditate – their mind is too busy, they don’t have time or they just can’t sit still – but this simple yet powerful technique is the ideal starting place for anyone who wishes to invest in themselves and build a life-long meditation practice.
After years of trying various types of meditation, through apps, guided videos and silent retreat, this 1 Giant Mind Being technique has allowed me to develop and maintain my own daily meditation practice. That is why I believe it is the perfect meditation to share with others.
